Academic Plan 2022-2024

Every school needs a roadmap to ensure students acquire the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. This roadmap takes the form of an academic plan, which serve a key purpose of setting clear goals. Academic plans outline the objectives and goals for a school. These objectives align with the needs of the school, which were identified through an annual reflection process, Comprehensive Needs Assessment.  

The creation of academic plans involves:

Collaboration: Teachers, administrators, and sometimes even parents, work together to identify the specific goals for the school.

Alignment: These goals are then carefully aligned with relevant standards to ensure a cohesive curriculum.

Resource Allocation: Based on the academic plans, resources such as textbooks, technology, and professional development for teachers and staff are allocated to support instruction.

Monitoring and Adjustment: Throughout the year, student progress is monitored through assessments. This allows teachers and administrators to adjust instruction or identify areas where the plans might need to be revised.

By following this process, academic plans provide the framework for a successful learning experience for all students.
